My Students

Every day, my students come in to class and give it their all. They are encouraged to work hard and focus to produce quality work, and they are always eager to show it off.

My students are a spirited bunch of 4th graders, with a hunger for showing off their successes.

They play hard, but they work hard, too, and it is shown in the work they produce for me. There always seems to be a friendly competition between them to see who can best complete the work they are given, and there's always congratulations to go around for those who are successful.

My Project

From art projects to math problems and stories written, students are eager to show off when they have found success, and the beauty is in the details. It's hard to see those details from the back of the room, though. That's where a document camera comes into play. When projected on the ActivBoard, even students in the back of the room can see every step of a process and every detail of a drawing.

Funding this project will make my classroom more interactive for the students.

They can take pride in the work they have done and receive the congratulations they are due from their peers. I'll also be able to model concepts for students to see, to help clarify directions and expectations for kids. Your support is so greatly appreciated!
