My Students

Science, technology, engineering, art, and math are all the components that make up our STEAM Lab! I'm so lucky to teach in a school with a dedicated space for STEAM. By working together to think critically, learn through action, and problem solve, our students can do anything.

I believe that all children are capable of becoming incredible problem solvers, and it is my mission to ensnare the imaginations of as many future scientists, engineers, and great thinkers as I can.

We love anything interactive and experimental!

My Project

In our STEAM Lab, students create hands-on and interactive projects, and I encourage them to take photographs to document their learning process. These pictures are an important part of their learning portfolios.

Pictures help them reflect at the end of a project and give them a sense of pride when they look back at pictures of their finished work.

Students often need to disassemble their work when they are done so that other groups can use the resources for their own projects. That can be difficult, but being able to take pictures helps make this process easier. Also, these cameras will make it easier for students to share their work with their families, which is something they love to do.
