This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of the more popular Collaboration Station themes is Math and Money. Students love the see the different games on the table when they come in to Library, but also the different math books that are at each stations that they can checkout. Often some comment like, "I didn't know you had math in the Library," is proclaimed. I given my standards response about, "I keep telling you, Library is everything!"

Part of our school motto is about students become collaborators, lifelong learners and strategic thinkers and games provide a wonderful way to make these three things happen which are needed traits to become financial literate.
