My students learn through play all throughout the school day. Whether they have just built a magnificent structure in the block center, a paper shape collage in the art center, or created a pattern with colorful beads, students are always excited to show off their work. The first thing I usually say to them is, "Wow! I must take a picture of your work!" This validates their hard work on their task and gives them a sense of pride.
Students absolutely love to see these pictures displayed in the classroom, along with their dictations about what they made.
In order give them this experience, I need to have an abundance of ink so I can print with ease.
