This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Instead of teaching a self-contained ECSE room, my classroom next year will consist of both students with IEPs as well as typically developing kiddos without IEPs! I am so excited for this new experience. My students are all aged three to five years. I will have 16 students in the morning and 16 in the afternoon.
I teach in a high-poverty Title I school.
More than three-quarters of the students in our school are from low-income households. My classroom will be the first school experience for the majority of my students and I want it to set the tone for their future education. Therefore, I do all that I can to make their experience one that is exciting and motivating for them.
My Project
With the increase in the number of students coming to my classroom, I need to have materials that help all of my students feel welcome. The Attendance Pocket Chart has enough space for all of my new kiddos. I currently have the Birthday Cakes, but need another set to have enough candles for everyone!
Help me showcase my students and their work with Carson Dellosa Kids at Work Borders!
My plan is to put these up around the room in order to showcase artwork and pictures of my kiddos in the Classroom Photo Display. The Stick-N-Stay Adhesive Rolls will help us utilize even more areas to showcase them while the Carpet Adhesive Roll will help with safety.
