Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from many diverse backgrounds which require many different approaches to teaching and learning. My students come in every day excited and ready to learn. Our school is a low-income school where every child receives free breakfast, snacks, and lunch.
Many of our students come from homes that speak a language other than English, and having the tools in the classroom they need in order to succeed is very important to me!
Knowing my students come from different backgrounds and learn differently, I want to make sure they are well-equipped with all of the materials they need so that they can all learn to their highest potential and be prepared for the future.
My Project
My students come to school every day and do their very best! With this being said, they are very proud of their work! Since most of our assignments have been converted digitally, this is how they are usually completed.
I want my students to showcase their spectacular work!
We are asking for a printer and ink so I can print my students assignments off and they can showcase them within our classroom or, bring it home to their families.
I want my students to take ownership of their learning and be proud of their hard work, and by having a printer in our classroom it will be much easier for them to have a paper copy to look back at!
