This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have a very diverse group of students. Some are students that have great opportunities, others need to have the opportunities given to them. That is where I step in!
Being a science teacher to over one hundred students, I need to keep my students engaged and able to show what they are learning.
My struggling students and English learners, as well as native English speakers, are often excited and ready to engage in scientific discussion through investigations that involve inquiry and research. These types of activities help engage every student in the classroom and provide a way for them to explore their thoughts by building on ideas from others.
My students are curious and ready to explore the scientific world through hands-on activities and technology that enhances their research. The use of technology will diminish their language barriers and better prepare them to engage in classroom discussions.
My Project
My students will use this circuit machine to showcase the concepts they learn in our units throughout the year. The use of the machine will be supervised and the students will get to design and create their own masterpieces. We have different units throughout the year and I think that this machine is a great addition to the classroom.
My students often struggle with the planning and execution of creatively showing they concepts that they learned in class.
With the supplies in this project, my students will be able to better show what they learned artistically! Thank you in advance for supporting this project.
