My Students
My students are starting a year of responsibility. They are now part of the big kids. Third through fifth graders are the ones who set example for younger students. This is a class that is eager to take on being role models and problem solvers.
The students in my class see themselves as a family that is ready to work together as a team.
They are very excited to help each other and share ideas. They are a great bunch of kids.
My Project
Dry erase whiteboards are a need in my classroom. The hand held boards we have been using are ancient. They are a dull, stained, grayish color. Students are always volunteering to clean them but it doesn't help.
I'm requesting School Smart student dry erase boards and erasers.
The students in my third grade class love to show off their work. During math I like to give the students an addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division problem to solve. They like to show their different methods of how they solve the equations to their classmates. The whiteboards will be very helpful in letting them write the problems and to show them off.
