This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have a diverse group of students. Their ability levels range in ability from students who struggle in school, due to learning disabilities, to gifted. One common characteristic among all students is their enthusiasm for learning.

I work diligently to plan exemplary literacy lessons and activities that challenge the students, but also allow them to use their unique talents and abilities to showcase or demonstrate their depth of knowledge.

I want to motivate and inspire my students to become lifelong learners.

My Project

The touchscreen Chromebook, green screen, and wireless mic will be used to create screen casts, videos, and multimedia presentations. Students will combine images, audio, and video clips to create documentaries, webcasts, and animated products. Students will learn to create screen casts to demonstrate their knowledge of a subject or as evidence of mastering a skill. Students will also have the ability to create movies and videos using the green screen.

Students will have the opportunity to share their knowledge with their peers, family, and school community.

These digital tools will motivate and inspire students to work to their full capabilities.
