My Project
My students want the best books to be right there waiting for them. They ALWAYS look at and choose the ones I have displayed FIRST because it makes them feel special like I picked out books just for each of them. And that's exactly what I do in my library displays! They also love being able to find all of our new books quickly and get excited to see what new books have arrived.
These rotating bookshelves and bookmarks will help me display our new books and those I pick out just for them AND give them a tool to use when reading so that they can continue to grow as readers!
Giving them new ways to browse and find books more easily will allow them to become more successful and independent. They always ask me where certain books are or books about certain subjects and they want to know where the "good" books are. Using displays helps me to show them what they want AND need.
