Help me give my students dry erase markers (and erasers) to help them communicate their thinking and for me to quickly check for understanding.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This rambunctious group of 11-12 year olds are always ready to learn something new. They do not come from the best of circumstances, getting to school can be a struggle, but they know once inside these walls they are expected to be ready to participate. Our classroom has become a place where not only do we learn our standard curriculum but about the world we live in.
These 130 brilliant minds are always ready for the next challenge.
At times, they may bring some outside troubles into the classroom, but they know they have a safe space here. When they line up and come into the room, we make eye contact and shake hands letting each other know we are ready to go. They are always ready to go.
My Project
I know asking for dry erase markers is not anything extraordinary but boy, are they an important part of my teaching and students' learning. I use a variety of methods to check for student's understanding; sometimes using computer apps is helpful but sometimes, the good old method of writing with a pen or marker in this case, is also needed.
Students can quickly express their thinking or ask questions through our mini-white board activities and I can quickly assess how the entire class is doing at one glance.
Unfortunately, resources are limited and with 130 students, I need a lot of markers!
