This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My preschool students are amazing children from many different cultures and backgrounds. Our urban magnet elementary school has an international focus. In my class, there are 8 students whose first language is not English, and best friends often speak different languages!
My Project
My preschool classroom has no windows and is located in the corner of the basement. Two of my bulletin boards are damaged beyond repair. One of them has had extensive water damage and the other is an old chalkboard that is covered in strips of glue, making is unusable as either a chalkboard or a bulletin board.
The classroom environment is a teacher too.
My students need places to display their work. Not only is it motivating, but they are proud of themselves and talk about their work frequently. The current taping system I am using in the interim tends to ruin their work. Please help me showcase all of my students' projects by giving me materials to make our classroom a place we can show off and be proud of!
