This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are working hard to mastery a difficult subject! Please help my "Physics Phanatics" ensure they are mastering challenging Physics problems with whiteboard markers and erasers.

My students are from an urban area of Pennsylvania.

My students attend a College Preparatory Charter High School that aspires to close the achievement gap! Located in a high poverty community, my school aspires to ensure that every student has the opportunity to receive a high quality education that leads to personal success. Our students are embarking on their final year of high school and extremely excited for their forthcoming college futures! Many of my students are focused on pursuing science and engineering futures. Markers and whiteboards are essential for every students to achieve the Physics content knowledge necessary to succeed in college. Please help me foster a love for science and pursuing science related careers among my students with this amazing gift!

My Project

I am requesting nine sets of 24 each black colored whiteboard markers with attached erasers. My students will be able to work through complex, multi-step problems in groups. Furthermore, my students will individually be able to test their understanding of the day's objective by "rolling" their whiteboards and displaying their correct answers! This gift will allow me to give those students who are in need of individual help immediately, before misconceptions resonate. Also, in order to make practice problems fun and exciting, whiteboards are necessary for fostering a competitive spirit within the classroom through Physics games!

This project is truly essential for the operation of my classroom.

Without these useful tools we cannot easily ensure that every student reaches mastery everyday! Please help contribute to our classroom culture and Mastery rates!
