My Project

Assessing 5 and 6 year old students can be hard. They like to look off of each other's papers and boards and copy EVERYTHING! It's hard to actually see what they know unless you have them one on one. That's why testing in Kindergarten is so time consuming. I want to see what each child knows-not what he or she copied from their neighbor!

These privacy shields will be perfect for whole group and small group assessments.

The dry erase boards will be used in whole group and small group as well. They will be used everyday - not only for assessments. Our Horizons reading series has students writing letters, slides and words daily. The hand held dry erase boards that we currently have in the classroom have been in my classroom for about 15 years. They've definitely seen better days! However, they are the same brand as the ones I've chosen for this project! Hopefully they will last as long as the ones we are currently using.
