My Project

During my first year as a teacher, I saw that kids really want to work together and collaborate. I thought these boards would be good for partners, small groups, or even teams when playing against each other. The smaller the item and the quicker it can be used helps with engagement and less chance for disruptions during transition times. Writing is a struggle I noticed as well this year and these boards would also benefit in their writing.

These boards can be used for many different areas of instruction.

Fact vs Opinion, Theme, Multiplication Facts, True or False, Draw Me a Shape, so many options. The fact they are small is really helpful as well for space and storage. If there is one thing I learned this year it is that kids are not that organized. Keeping their stuff in one area is a challenge for them, so I am looking for ways to engage them without taking up too much space.
