Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are explorers, mathematicians, scientists, and authors! They love to learn and experience the world around them through hands-on activities.
My students are enthusiastic, fun-loving and energetic learners!
They are learning to make smart choices and to solve their own problems. They love to teach each other and to work together to meet their learning goals.
My students are always active and engaged in learning. They learn best when they are actively participating in their own learning. This project will help our class do just that!
My Project
My students need to be able to select books that interest them through Scholastic Book Clubs. They will be exposed to financial literacy books, math books and books about money. They will be able to select math games as well, that will enhance their financial knowledge.
My students will select a book of their very own to help build their home libraries.
Taking care of this book that they "purchased" by earning classroom dollars will show them the importance of making good choices with money. With your support, our class will build financial literacy skills through this project that they will carry with them for years to come!
