This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project is to introduce middle school students to the concept of financial literacy and its relevance in STEM careers. Students will create mock-like storefront and learn good business practices and financial literacy. By the end of the project, students should understand basic financial concepts, budgeting, saving, and investing, and how these principles apply to potential STEM career paths. Students will learn these concepts through disguised learning activities, games, and projects.

Financial literacy in STEM careers for middle schoolers is a fantastic way to engage students in real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while also preparing them for future financial responsibilities.

With games, cotton candy machine to practice business finances and entrepreneurship skills in mock storefront, and books on modern manners that teens can develop to prepare for future careers.
