Show Me the Learning! Collaboration in the Library
Help me give my students large dry erase boards for collaborative projects, brainstorming and hands-on learning in our high school library. Students can use our newly created library space where they can learn, interact, and collaborate.

My Project
As a library, we are not just a place for books – we are a hub for creativity, collaboration, and learning. One of the most effective ways to promote these values is by providing tools that encourage active participation, teamwork, and visual thinking. That’s why we are seeking dry erase boards for our students and staff to use in collaborative projects, brainstorming sessions, and hands-on learning. After removing some library shelves, we created a new study space where students and groups can come to collaborate and learn.
Dry erase boards are invaluable in creating an interactive environment.
They allow for dynamic learning opportunities where students can easily jot down ideas, work through problems, and visually express their thoughts. In a library, where a diverse range of learning activities take place – from group study sessions to research projects – having dry erase boards available will enable students to engage more deeply with the material and with one another.
Teachers and staff can also use these boards to illustrate concepts in real-time, making lessons more visual and interactive. Whether it's solving math problems, sketching out historical timelines, or brainstorming creative writing ideas, dry erase boards will empower both students and educators to collaborate in new and exciting ways.
For Student Collaboration: Students can work in groups on projects, actively brainstorming and organizing their ideas visually.
For Lessons and Interactive Learning: Teachers can use the boards to demonstrate and solve problems in real time, keeping students engaged.
For Staff Meetings and Planning: The boards will serve as a tool for staff to collaborate and plan lessons or initiatives.
Please help us fund this project. Our library is one of the oldest in our school district and we are trying hard to bring it up to today's library standards.
