This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for the end of the year celebration to provide the runners with a medal. These medals will be a representation of the hard work they have put into the running team with staying after school, and following through to complete their training.

As a runner myself, I look forward to my bling at the end of every running event, simply because I worked hard to accomplish my goal.

Therefore, I want to give my young runners the same opportunity in following through with running team all year long in rewarding them with a custom medal.

Since it’s an elementary after school running team, we don’t get the support from the district. Therefore, the coaches are on their own to empower our runners to find their passion by instilling confidence, create a positive team culture, and serve as an inspiration to accomplishing goals.
