Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help my students get the supplies that they need to succeed in our incoming school year. My students need supplies like pencils, dry erase markers, dry erasers, flexible seating, and weighted blankets to aid in their learning.
My students are special needs and deserve to have options that fit their educational needs.
Some of my students prefer writing with pencils while others need markers which allows them to have a better grip. Special needs students learn differently and I want to be able to give them an opportunity to learn in an educational environment that will support them. Flexible seating and weighted objects will give them an option but it will also provide any sensory input they may need.
