Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! Students are Junior ROTC cadets. Their goal is to learn how to become better citizens in their community and county. These students spend many classroom hours learning about becoming better leaders and citizens, along with becoming better people in general. Through various projects, these same students put into practice, their learned skills in the community doing various community service projects. They love hands on projects! These students are an inspiration to myself and a great example of what this generation of students are capable of.

My Project

Team sports are a must in any school program. The ability to tell the difference in players in a big necessity. Colored scrimmage jerseys are therefor a must in order to appropriately tell the difference between a team mate and an opponent. Therefore colored scrimmage vests are a must. I also don't want the same old team sports played. I want to expose numerous games to my students in order to accommodate all types of students. Not all like the traditional sports. That is why I would like frisbees in order to play a game that combines ultimate frisbee with football and soccer.
