Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Throughout the year, my students constantly produce work that deserves to be showcased. My classroom has sufficient wall space made of cinder blocks. As a result, it is challenging to keep their work up for everyone to admire. My goal is to cover some of these walls with felt boards and create a longer-lasting showcase.

My students often enter my 7th-grade classroom with apprehension toward mathematics, however, my goal is for them to like math more than they did in September.

One of the techniques I like to implore is to showcase their work often so that they begin to feel confident about mathematics. Through Donors Choose I believe that I can make this come true for my deserving children. Thank you in advance.
