My Project

I am an elementary special education resource specialist at an independent study program where the students attend classes remotely for instruction as well as work independently on specific skills on a daily basis. I meet the students individually and in a group on Zoom for instruction in reading and writing and follow up with independent work.

The individual journals I requested give my students the opportunity to enhance their comprehension and writing skills after we meet on Zoom for instruction.

The reading and writing journals allow them daily practice on specific reading and writing skills. The laptop computer will be used during face-to-face instruction. It will give my students access to my program with fewer technical interruptions.

My students are motivated to learn and these materials will enhance their skills and give them better access to their teacher.
