This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I want to make it a focus to give my students experience with digital art. Giving my students digital cameras is one of the most fun ways in which a student can practice digital art creation.
It would be easy to give my students a sheet of paper and ask them to draw what they see, but it would be more impactful if they showed us their perspectives through photography.
With the cameras, my students will create art for a gallery walk titled "Through my eyes." We will display our creations in the classroom using lamination sheets, velcro, and hanging hooks.
