My Project

I work in a low-income area where many of my students face significant challenges and trauma at a very young age. Despite these obstacles, they come to school every day with resilience, curiosity, and a desire to learn. What I love most about my students is their strength and their heart. They are kind, determined, and full of potential. They are looking for a place where they feel safe, seen, and supported—somewhere they know they belong. My classroom strives to be that place, and your generosity helps make that possible.

The resources I’m requesting will directly support my students' learning and emotional growth.

Whether it’s a class set of Holes to help them connect with literature in meaningful ways, or book bins to organize our reading space and make books more accessible, every item will create a more welcoming and effective learning environment. These tools will give my students not only access to knowledge but also the message that someone believes in their success.

I chose to teach in this community with the hope of inspiring even just one child, and I believe that with support, we can reach many more. Your donation is more than just funding materials; it’s an investment in a child’s future, in their hope, and in their confidence. Thank you for being a part of their journey.
