My students range from grades 9-12. They are students with a disability. Their disabilities range from autism, Intellectual disabilities and other health impairments. I love my students because they are hard workers even though many of them are faced with disabilities which they do not let hinder them.
My Project
I am requesting mindset practice journals, take-home pouches and books. Students who read these novels find reading fun and begin to read more for enjoyment! Helping students begin to learn that reading is fun is a perfect way to build better readers. The novels are a gateway to better reading skills for reluctant readers. My students will love getting their hands on these. The novels will be for the students to continue learning at home. These novels will give the students something tangible instead of on the computer. These novels will be something that they can and should last for a lifetime.
