Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are self-motivated to learn anything about everything! They question constantly to seek answers but also question those answers. They form opinions based on new learning and love to look for evidence. They are inspired daily to be better people from their families, friends, classmates, and school.
My project is about having access to lesson ideas that will celebrate the diversity of the students in the classroom and help me to incorporate the many cultures in my classroom within the lessons that I teach.
This project provides gift cards that enable me to purchase pre-made lessons that teachers have created. It will support me to address my students needs, celebrate who they are and where they come from, and help me to implement culturally responsive teaching practices and curriculum in my classroom, teach concepts that in a varied, engaging way.
I will be working with my teaching partner to use the gift cards on Teacher Pay Teachers to purchase amazing and creative instructional materials and curriculum.
