My Project

Our kindergarten and first-grade exceptional learners thrive with hands-on, meaningful learning experiences. We are creating a Life Skills Cottage where students can build academic, communication, social, and independent living skills through purposeful play.

A central part of our cottage will be a dramatic-play grocery store with realistic, food related educational activities.

Students will practice foundational literacy and math skills while sorting, counting, following simple shopping lists, making choices, communicating, taking turns, and participating in familiar real-world routines.

For our students with disabilities, these experiences help connect classroom learning to everyday life while building confidence, communication, and independence.

Your contribution will help us create a space where our exceptional learners can learn, practice, and grow toward greater independence—one meaningful experience at a time.
