This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our school we do not have soccer goals for our students at recess. They currently play using two trees as a goal set up. These official goals will give them an opportunity to play the game with two separate goals for an actual complete game.
In our city of Lexington, soccer is a sense of pride for our community.
They have built an amazing youth program to develop young players' skills. By using these goals at recess and after school, we can continue to build on the progress they have made in other programs. Giving them something to strive for carries over in the classroom tremendously. Students are taught that if they want to compete, they have to work hard in school. Thank you for your consideration in donating to help my students shoot for their goals!
