My Students
As a SPED teacher and Coach at a Title I school, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, they come to school each and every day to succeed in the classroom and in the sport of wrestling.
To eliminate the challenge of having to pay for equipment our school tries to provide every student with team shoes to compete in the sport of wrestling.
By providing each child with a pair of shoes, they have the ability to compete.
My Project
By providing these shoes for my students, it will give them the opportunity to have the proper equipment to compete safely in the sport of wrestling. It will also help to alleviate the cost factor which may deter my students from participating in the sport of wrestling.
This will assure that all student-athletes will be properly outfitted in required shoes needed to compete in the sport of wrestling.
It will teach them responsibility by having to be responsible for the care of their team shoes for the entire wrestling season and help to cut down on their expense for participating in sports.
