My students live in what most of the world would consider poverty. They don't know this though, for the most part. They don't know that all students don't get free breakfast and lunch because of the lack of income in their homes. They do know that education is important and valued by their families, so they come everyday, eager to learn and become our future scientists and artists. They work hard daily to fulfill their dreams and their families' dreams for them.
My Project
This is the second year we have had an active student council. We have taken on the ambitious job of opening a school store that is open once a week. We have held several events including a few movie nights and a winter dance. This year we were gifted a closet to keep our things.
This project will give us the tools to successfully carry out the projects we have started and have planned.
The storage containers will allow us to sort and store our school store inventory so that it is easily accessible. The cash box will help us secure the money we bring in until it can be deposited.
We would like to grow and become more active and we could use your donations to this project to help us along our journey to success.
