My Project
My students are special needs and are excited to play with the manipulative, paint and play dough, any sensory activities that touches on their five senses. We’ve done water color painting, painting and finger painting while sitting down. Standing up to paint will bring a a different sensation that they’ll be able to build up the stamina in their arms and legs, whereas some students have low tone issues in their arms and legs.
We do have strategies to address these needs but this will be a fun activity having them doing it without realizing it!
