Shining Opera Stars!

Help me give my students the needed sound equipment for their upcoming opera production in February.

My Project

These items will be used with our upcoming 3rd grade opera "The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors" and any future productions held at Bel-Nor Elementary.

Using face microphones will prepare students for the future if they choose to continue in music and stage productions.

Many students are interested in continuing with music, and this is the perfect opportunity to start them with face microphones so that they are prepared in the future for bigger productions and musicals where the expectation is to use face microphones instead of handheld microphones.

The face microphones will help students act with their bodies without worrying about holding a microphone as they dance, pretend fight, and roll around onstage for the opera.

The power strip will help with plugging in all of the sound equipment electronics and with charging our rechargeable handheld microphones that use USB plugs.

The 3 prong to 2 prong converters (polarized ground adapters) will help convert our 2-prong outlets at the school into 3-prong outlets for the power cords and our 3-prong plug sound equipment. The extension cords will help with keeping the sound equipment close to stage without worrying about being near an outlet in the gym.

The Behringer X Air XR19 Digital Rackmount Mixer will help add more connections for microphones and make our system connect virtually so that the microphone levels can be adjusted quicker through an iPad instead of running back and forth between the sound setup.
