This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All students deserve recognition for their excellence in academics whether it be for outstanding grades or making improvements where there have been great learning challenges.

My goal is to ensure that all of my students receive awards at various times throughout the year for having reached different levels of achievement with academics, personal/social development, and being college bound!

My students want to do well and take great delight in improvement no matter how small, and I think encouraging them with awards influences their motivation to keep trying!
