My Project

My students are conscientious learners. They are passionate about using their knowledge to help others. They have been inspired to use their STEM expertise to combat food insecurity.

Our campus is located in a food desert, and our students want to help provide fresh vegetables for the community.

The students have researched the best plants to grow in our climate and what conditions are needed to keep our garden thriving. The grow lights will help them to keep their garden growing year round so that they can help to provide fresh food to our school community and neighbors!
