Shine Some Sparkle with Providing Chrome! Computer Technology

Help me give my students the most basic Chromebook to enter the digital world that so many other children have had the opportunity to have. In this day, it becomes increasingly difficult to perform without this technology component.

My Students

We are a public charter school who is in desperate need of help. My school district receives the lowest per-pupil funding of any school district in the Denver metro area. Our funding doesn't even buy a textbook for an individual student in a single academic class. We make cuts in budget which compromises our resources in providing basic school supplies. With this in mind, our students still strive for excellence, bring their smiles, and love what we personally provide and teach. I love teaching students who understand that we are all trying to do our best with the little we have. My students are amazing and I am extremely proud of them! Thank you for helping. I am fortunate for DonorsChoose. You bring gifts to their education that makes teaching all worth it!

My Project

Having the most basic of Chromebooks will be a wonderful start for allowing my students a chance to compete academically with the rest of the nation. In this day, technology and digital formats are a must in functioning as a productive working person. This one project will reach my entire middle school group of 7th and 8th-grade students. You will make a huge difference for an entire school. I personally want to begin working on a Google Classroom environment where students can work, revise, edit, and most importantly research various topics in science and technology. I want my students to create working movies, utilize programs, and take their studies towards the STEAM mentality towards education. We need your help. Together we can reach the minds of my entire middle school population.
