My Project

I have used many different types of lighting in my classroom. Fluorescent lights are trendy in most schools, but, it is not the best type of lighting to promote learning. They can harm learning. Research studies have shown that fluorescent lighting can cause headaches and migraines, and increase anxiety in a classroom.

I would like to provide my students with alternative forms of lighting that would not be harmful to them.

I love to hang lights and have a variety of lamps. Proper lighting is beneficial, playing an important role that will improve learning for years to come.
