This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am the new dance teacher at my school. This dance program is brand new at our school and we are starting from nothing. Most students have never taken a dance class before and do not have the proper attire to wear under costumes for shows. I work at a low-income school where it can be tough for families to supply the things their students need. I want my students to feel like a star. Having the right gear would make them feel professional on stage since they will have the proper attire to wear under their costumes.
