This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how hardworking, resilient, and enthusiastic my students are, even when faced with challenges. They show up every day with curiosity and energy, ready to learn and support one another. Their laughter and spirit fill our classroom with joy, and I believe in celebrating their efforts just as much as their achievements.

This Glow Party will be a fun, meaningful reward for all the hard work my students have put in this year.

The glow sticks, neon decorations, and glow-in-the-dark games will transform our classroom into a bright, exciting space where students can relax, celebrate, and build positive memories together.

Events like this foster a sense of belonging and community, which is so important for student well-being and motivation. When students know their hard work is noticed and appreciated, it encourages them to stay engaged and push through tough moments. This project isn’t just about having fun — it’s about showing students that their effort matters and that school can be a joyful, uplifting place.
