My Project

*Shiloh* is an important book for fifth graders to read because it teaches valuable lessons about honesty, courage, and standing up for what’s right—even when it’s hard. Through Marty’s relationship with Shiloh, students see how compassion and determination can make a difference. The story also opens up conversations about animal cruelty, family values, and moral choices, helping kids think deeply about their own actions and beliefs. Plus, the writing is engaging and relatable, making it a powerful and meaningful read for their age. Help us give our students this powerful read!
