Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a wonderful group of ESOL 1st grade students who are excited about learning. These are students have less than two years in the U.S. Some just got here from Cuba or South America. We are a Title I school with many low income families. My students are always eager to learn and be challenged in the classroom.

I would love to be able to provide them with a disinfected classroom to learn in!

My Project

My students and I are back to a brick and mortar learning environment. However, due to our classroom being in an old building they tend to be small with poor ventilation, we do not have our desks 6 feet apart. I will use the air purifier, disinfectant, and fogger to help clean the air and desks. My first grade students are in close contact with each other all day and by having these cute colorful masks, my students will be provided some protection with social distancing against Covid-19 .
