I teach fourth and fifth graders who are struggling in school. By this time, most of the kids are now aware of the achievement gap they face. Although a good percentage of my students have learning disabilities and are serviced with an IEP, I also teach students who need intensive intervention through the RtI model.
My students need a small group setting where they can really focus on their intense instruction.
The use of this classroom accommodations can help my students focus so they can concentrate better on the lessons being taught.
This soundproofing curtain will help me when I have multiple groups running in my classroom. My students won't be so distracted by watching and listening to the students in the other groups and will be better able to focus on their lessons.
My students need as distraction-free an environment as I can provide in order for them to really benefit from their instruction.
Learning is a struggle for all my students, and focus is a challenge for most of them. Anything that can help channel my students' attention is going to support their learning and help improve their chances of being successful.
