Every day we are using many different types of supplies and books such as alphabet letter tiles, white boards, supply boxes, math manipulatives, notebooks, and folders. We need storage for these supplies in order for students to have easy access on a daily basis.
In order for every student to learn at their maximum capability, students need a variety of teaching materials.
The classroom does not have enough storage space for the large amount of supplies needed for my active and engaged students. We will be using the bookshelves as storage for each table group, which will allow them easy access to everything they need. They will also have the opportunity to complete research projects using a large amount of books that will be stored on the classroom bookshelf.
My Project
My students will be using the strategically placed storage space on a daily basis in order to store their learning supplies such as manipulatives, interactive notebooks, poetry folders, research books, and supply boxes. My students will no longer be wasting valuable learning time gathering supplies from around the room. With your help soon the supplies will be located in one central area of the room.

Instead, they will now be able to store all of their supplies on a central bookshelf at the end of their table groups. This will allow for the students to have more instructional time in order to learn everything that is needed for first grade.
