As the year comes to a close, progress reports are reviewed, and I reflect on how we could end this year with a bang AND start next year with 1,000% success, I realize that my kids need a new library in our classroom.
Books need to be spotlighted and celebrated.
Books need to be the core focus of our classroom. I can’t do this without shelves to create a space in the classroom for a library. With a classroom library, my kids can have access to hundreds of books on a day to day basis whether it’s reading after classwork is done or just book shopping for a book to take home and read. In either case, I need a space and place where kids can see, feel, and touch the books in our room. Please help me create the library of their dreams!!
