This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our 3rd grade classroom, pencils are more than just writing tools- they are the foundation of our learning. My students use pencils every day to solve math problems, write stories, take notes, and express their ideas. Unfortunately, we often run out of pencils or struggle with dull ones that break easily and disrupt our learning time.

A reliable supply of pencils and a quality pencil sharpener will ensure that my students are always ready to learn.

It will help us maximize our instructional time, reduce distractions, and foster independence as students can sharpen their own pencils and stay on task. With sharpened pencils ready, students can stay engaged in lessons without unnecessary interruptions. Every student will have access to the basic tools they need, regardless of what they can bring from home. Having the right tools builds student confidence and allows them to fully participate in all subjects.

My students are curious, resilient and full of potential. They come to school each day with bright smiles and eager minds, ready to explore, question and grow.
