This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I've had the privilege of teaching a group of amazing and determined third-grade students. They’re always ready for a challenge and eager to keep learning. This year is extremely important and a pivotal year for these third-grade students as they prepare for their first year of state testing. Third grade consists of teaching and preparing students for many math skills, reading, grammar, and essay writing strategies. Imagine the paper and pencil usage we go through daily. Having these supplies will make a huge difference in their learning because we can maximize instruction time.

This electric sharpener and supplies will ensure students will stay sharp and focused on mastering math, reading, grammar and writing skills!

My goal for this project is to keep my students focused on mastering learning! The items that I am requesting for this project are to help us finish strong! We are in desperate need of a pencil sharpener that will efficiently allow us to stay on task on what matters most! It isn't easy to sharpen pencils for 24 students with a manual pencil sharpener. These supplies will allow us to sharpen pencils with ease and not waste any precious time.
