it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students attend a very large and diverse high school. They are special needs students with different learning issues but they work hard to overcome and address them. I teach special education students in both inclusion and resource English classes.
All students want to succeed!
We work together to do our best to ensure everyone is successful. My students often just need a bit of extra assistance or a different strategy to be successful. It is my goal to make sure each one of them gets that help.
My Project
It may seem overly simple but students need pencils to get through the school day. You might assume that parents buy pencils for their own kids and you'd be right, they do!
Pencils disapear!
It's a fact every teacher knows. They fall through holes in backpacks, they get left behind in classes, they get leant to friends and forgotten about.
If I don't have pencils to share with my students, they can't do their work. I refuse to allow that to happen. Additionally, I find that giving students little things as rewards help them to feel better about doing their best.
