My Students

My students are such an amazing group of "little learners". They are curious and adventurous as they explore the wonderful world of Second Grade. Their smiles and laughter make me the luckiest teacher. My students come from all cultures, areas, and various incomes an opportunity to learn and thrive within the district. My energetic second grade students enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore.

Most of our students come from low-income areas.

Our students face many challenges both in and out of the classroom, but despite the many challenges they face, they walk into our classroom every day full of life and ready to learn.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student meets their full potential.

My Project

Pencils are something students need daily for everything they do in school. They use them for assignments, homework, writing in their planner, assessments, art, and more. It is impossible to do all of this without a good quality pencil sharpener. Unfortunately, pencil sharpeners don't always last the test of time.

An effective pencil sharpener will increase the learning time for my students since they won't be fighting with a traditional sharpener for a good point.

A functioning pencil sharpener can deeply affect the learning environment in a classroom. Please help sharpen our dull world with this pencil sharpener and erasers.
