My Students
Our first and second graders in room 128 are energetic, enthusiastic, and super social. They are so enjoyable to be around. They love being involved in the learning process and want to succeed.
Learning never stops!
Our school is located in northwest Milwaukee. Most of our families struggle with poverty, which creates difficulties in having supplies needed for learning at school and home. Our goal is to provide an equitable education for each student by using DonorsChoose to be able to have the resources and supplies needed for them to reach their full potential.
My Project
It becomes difficult to run a classroom when you need more pencils to ensure your students can do their work. Yep, that's right I am just asking for pencils, sharpers, and cases. This will ensure that my students will have enough pencils to get through the school year.
Personally, I wish I could be doing a project that entails bigger and better things for our classroom; however, it's really about needing the basic materials to function on a daily basis.
