Sharpen Our Way Into Learning

Help me give my students a pencil sharpener our classroom sharpener has been broken, and we need a new one to help with our daily learning. We need speakers for our commuter to listen to our presentations.

My Students

My students live in a very diverse and high poverty area. My students attend an urban school district. Many of my students experience trauma on a daily basis. My students move often and have a very high transient rate from school to school. My student therefore have many social and emotional needs, and require many unique and basic supplies to be successful through the year. My students really appreciate the small things in life, a new pencil, folder, and crayons.

My students need many things in order to be successful in school, sometimes just the basic supplies.

My Project

Please help us get a pencil sharpener for our room. We spend so much time with our manual sharpeners. It is a waste of time. Time we can save learning. We also need speakers so we can listen to our presentations that we create. We also need speakers to listen to books and authors. Another reason our sharpener will greatly help us, is because our manual sharpener's break our pencils, this would save so many pencils that just break or won't sharpen in the manual sharpener.

We will also use the computer speakers to access educational websites like flowcabulary, brainpop, reading a-z, myon, and so much more.
